Kaler Banshi
Kaler Banshi Visva-Bharati's, Kala Bhavana campus, in Santiniketan, among others, there is a sculptural ensemble, comprising an adult male and a female - obviously a couple, with the female holding a child on to the left flank of her body with her left arm, while the male is carrying the other child sitting on front-side basket-balance of the weighing-scale hanging from the bamboo pole carried by the man on his shoulder.
Santhal Family
Santhal Family, widely considered to be the first public Modernist sculpture in India, was made by Ramkinkar Baij in 1938 depicting a mother, father, child and dog from the Santhal tribe, carrying their few possessions with them to a new life. At first glance, these statues appear to be made of mud, but a closer inspection reveals that cement cast and laterite pebbles were the materials used.
Punashcha
Punachcha is situated at the east of Shyamali, which was constructed as per desire of Rabindranath and he shifted to this house in 1936.
Shyamali
Shyamali It is in the east of Konarak & built by only Clay& Tar. Rabindranath on his 74th birthday shifted to Shyamali. The house was developed under direction of Nandalal Bose & Ramkinkar Baiz.
The Glass House
The Glass House (Upasana Griha) is situated in front of Santiniketan House.As per wisdom & planning of Debendranath, this House was established on 23rd December, 1891 & it is situated in front of Santiniketan House. In all important festivals of Santiniketan, Upasana or Prayer is being performed here either in the early morning or evening.
Kankalitala
Kankalitala is a temple town in Bolpur subdivision of Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located about 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from Bolpur on the Bolpur–Labhpur road. It is situated on the bank of the Kopai River. It is a gram panchayat under Bolpur-Sriniketan block. It is one of the Shakti Peethas where the waist (or kankal in Bengali) of Parvati fell. There are several temples in the town.
Khoai
Khoai is situated along the canal after Shyambati, which is a valley of un-even red soil and beautiful trees (Sonajhuri). Local artisans sell their products, sitting under trees with products ranging from handmade clothes to paintings, green vegetables to wooden ornaments.
The university's administrative offices
The university's administrative offices are located in this building. This is across from the Central Library.
Konark
Konarak It is situated in the north-west corner of Uttarayan complex & the house was constructed between 1919 & 1922 for Rathindranath and his wife Pratima Devi by Rabindranath.
Amar Kutir
Amar Kutir, Tourists interested in purchasing handicrafts and artefacts can visit Amar Kutir, which is located close to Santiniketan. This was a society by Rabindranath Tagore, to develop the art and craft of the village folk.This society’s building was an ashram once where political prisoners of the British period were kept. The society is now known to produce handicrafts and goods like bamboo and batik crafts, Kantha stitched saris, dokra jewellery and many more.
Chatimtala
Chatimtala Rabindranath's father, Debendranath Tagore during his travel to Raipur took rest & performed meditation (Upasana) at Chatimtala in 1862. Moved by the peace and tranquility of this place Debendranath decided to set up Santiniketan Ashram right there.
Black House (Kalo Bari)
Black House (Kalo Bari) In between Sangeet Bhavan & Kala Bhavan, Black House (Kalo Bari) is situated where students of Kala Bhavan were residing. This Bhavan is built in 1934 as per wish of Tagore & planning of Nandalal Basu, Surendranath Kar and Ramkinkar Baiz.
Ratan Kuthi
Ratan Kuthi It was constructed in memory of Ratanji Tata in 1923, which is still utilised as Guest House. It's located at the north of present Viswa Bharati Co-operative Society and at the north-east corner of old Paus Mela ground.
Samabartan Utsav
Samabartan Utsav the annual convocation ceremony is held every year. Each pass out is given three leaves of chatim to commemorate Devendranath’s first step in Shantiniketan.
Sonibaar-er-haat
"Sonibaar-er-haat" in Bolpur is quaint that was started to promote rural artisan, baul song and tribal dance of the region. Haat is an open to sky rural artisan market. 'Sonajhuri haat' of Shantiniketan, is a very prominent and well-liked in West Bengal.
